Tyncan

Tyncan is a tiny Pico-8 dungeon crawler where you must survive 20 floors to escape. Search for the key on every level, manage your health carefully, and survive the depths! , arrow keys you move , bump to enemy to inflict damage 

Key Features

• The Goal: Locate the key and reach the door to descend deeper.
• Progression: Level up by defeating enemies or finding items to boost your stats.
• Talismans: Discover rare talismans to further increase your power.
• Inventory: Check your backpack to view your current stats and collected talismans.
• Tutorial: If you find the mechanics confusing, be sure to check the in-game tutorial!

Strategy & Tips

• Defense is King: Defense is the rarest stat in the game. It is incredibly powerful because it reduces incoming damage by 1 per point.
• Scaling Health: There are many ways to recover health, and the higher your maximum HP, the more you recover from various sources.
• Offense as Defense: Building high Attack and Critical Chance is a viable strategy to destroy enemies before they can even touch you.
• Block Chance: If you aren't finding Defense upgrades, investing in Block Chance is a great alternative to stay alive.
• The Late Game: You don't have to kill everything! On the deeper floors, it is often better to grab the key and head for the exit as fast as possible.

Developer Note

Expect the unexpected! Between the procedural generation and the random loot, you will encounter both fair and unfair situations—but that’s the beauty of the crawl.

Known Bugs

• Talisman Undo: If you pick up a talisman and then select "Undo," the talisman will vanish from the ground. Choose your moves wisely!
